I have the opportunity to interact with wonderful, unique people in many stages of life and from different backgrounds. For some, 2014 has been a challenging year it seems. For others, myself included, 2014 has been fabulous! I have students who have dealt with job loses, health issues, pregnancy issues, illnesses in the family, financial struggles, and issues with their children. Then there are those who were quite fortunate this year. Some welcomed new babies, moved into new homes, made new friends, gained body confidence, got promoted or a new job and more! For me, 2014 brought an engagement, a wedding, a husband and two sons, growth of my business, wonderful training opportunities in Pilates, new friends, new organizations, and the list goes on. There were lots of smiles in 2014!
Regardless of how 2014 shaped up for you … 2015 and is an opportunity for all. If you had a rough, tough and challenging year, here is your chance to put it behind you and start fresh with a new outlook. If you had a great year, here is your chance to take all that positive energy into the possibilities of 2015.
I think it’s good to reflect a little and take stock of your life and the role YOU play in it. Are you proactive or reactive. Do you wait for opportunities or seek them? Do you allow one negative to change the course of your whole day/week/month? Bad things happen and sometimes there is nothing you could have done to prevent them. Bad things happen and sometimes the only thing you can do is control how you respond. Do you make the bad worse with your reaction? Do you make the best of it? Maybe 2015 is the year of being proactive and not letting the negative bring you down. Maybe 2015 is the year you take the good and double it or pay it forward. The slate is clean and the opportunities are there … how will you meet them? Let’s approach 2015 with an expectation of great things to come!

Here’s a wonderful 2015 – Cheers!
Happy 2015 to you, too!
Hi Lucie, I can honestly say that 2014 wasn’t too bad of a year. Yes, my husband lost his job, TWICE. But I am fortunate that we were still able to go on vacation this year, we still have a roof over our heads, and we still have our health. It wasn’t a perfect year, but I know that no one has a perfect year anyway, we ALL have struggles. I am excited about 2015 and all that it brings for my family!
Vonne I love your positive attitude and you are right – no one has it perfect and many have it worse 🙂 Happy Holidays!
